I'm currently a student at Colorado State University. I am a woman of color in computer science, which I have learned is quite unusual, but why? I have a concentration in human centered computing. I love psychology, learning how people will respond to new technologies is my passion. I'm in my final semester as an undergraduate but I intend to stay at CSU in the computer science masters program. 

I have experience doing user interface development for a research project I'm involved in. The project is a joint venture between the computer science department and the biochemical engineering department at CSU. It is an ongoing project and thus far I have learned a lot about what it's like to work in a team not knowing what the actual user wants. And it is the worst. Which is why I'm doing my research on my users before embarking on the design for this project.

 I chose to design a game explicitly to improve the relationship between women and computer science because I think women have the potential to save the world. There is such a lack of compassion in the technology industry and I hope to change that.
